I’m Dr. Kelly Martin Schuh and I have lived with herpes for 14 years and have learned how to live, love, and thrive with it. Now, 7 years after birthing Expression of Life Wellness Center in Boulder, CO, I am taking the knowledge I have gained in assisting women in their healing journey and making this available to women around the world.
Through my groundbreaking book, Live, Love & Thrive With Herpes: A Holistic Guide For Women, come travel with me to a place that transmutes darkness and fear into light and peace. This book also highlights my personal story and my journey of healing. I am currently collecting stories of women diagnosed with herpes and will use them as a teaching tool to inspire and empower others to heal.
We are shining a bright light on herpes, sparking conversation and eradicating the stigma of one of the most universal infections. Through a Members only online multimedia platform, Pink Tent, we will offer you education, inspiration and a care plan to allow you to manage your symptoms naturally. The herpes virus affects at least 1 in 4 Americans. With a market characterized by misinformation, fear, stigma and drugs, there aren’t many trusted places to turn to for a holistic perspective.
What is Pink Tent?
Pink Tent is a virtual community and multimedia project for women’s health and wellness that reaches well beyond herpes education and prevention. While writing this book, I envisioned Pink Tent, an inspiration based on the Red Tent of antiquity. In biblical times, women used to leave their husbands during their menses and labor to enter the safe haven of the Red Tent. Mothers, grandmothers, friends, sisters, and medicine women would gather to support each other in connection, celebration, and healing.
Pink Tent is the 21st century incarnation of the Red Tent. You know the magic that occurs when women gather? I invite you to join me in the creation of a new place to dream, get inspired, be heard, embrace health, to laugh, sing and cry. In this sacred space, women will connect and empower each other to fulfill their dreams of love, partnership and optimal health.
